HP has unveiled a new laptop with the difficult name Pro c640 G2 Chromebook Enterprise. It runs Google's Chrome OS, features 11th Gen Intel Core processors, and offers enhanced privacy protection.

The HP Pro c640 G2 Chromebook Enterprise is housed in a metal case that is 16.55 mm thick and weighs 1.5 kg. It has a 14-inch Full HD IPS display. For a surcharge, the laptop can be equipped with a touch screen, backlit keyboard and a fingerprint scanner for quick authorization.

The laptop comes with 11th Gen Intel processors, up to 16GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD. The built-in battery provides up to 12 hours of battery life and supports fast charging up to 90% in 90 minutes.

Of the connectors, there are two USB Type-C, each of which can serve to charge a laptop, two USB Type-A, full-size HDMI, a microSD card slot and a 3.5mm headphone port. Wi-Fi 6 is responsible for connecting to the Internet. To ensure the safety of users, a physical shutter of the webcam is provided, which allows it to be closed when not in use. The manufacturer also notes that the keyboard is waterproof and can withstand up to 350 ml of liquid.

The base configuration of the HP Pro c640 G2 starts at $ 419, and the corporate version with the Chrome Enterprise upgrade starts at $ 569.
